5. Margarita: We saved the best until last!

Bringing a touch of Mexican flair the Margarita has become a beloved classic known for its zesty and invigorating flavours. The marriage of tequila, triple sec, and citrus syrup delivers a perfectly balanced blend of sweet, sour, and a hint of bitterness.

Recipe from our Mexican Cuisine cookery experience:

30g salt and sugar mix (50% each)

45ml alcohol mix (30ml tequila and 15ml triple sec)

45ml citrus syrup

A1 Lime

To craft a Margarita, begin by mixing salt and sugar on a plate for a unique twist on the traditional salt rim, adding a subtle sweetness to complement the flavours. Wet the rim of your Margarita glass by running a lime slice along it, and press the rim into the salt and sugar mix. Add tequila, triple sec, and citrus syrup to the glass, with the citrus juice forming the cocktail's tangy foundation. Prepare a lime slice for garnish and cut the remaining lime in half, using one half to squeeze fresh juice into the mix, infusing a burst of citrus vibrancy. Don't forget the ice cubes – they not only chill the drink but also balance its strength and flavour.

To ensure all the elements blend harmoniously, give your Margarita a good stir and enjoy! Cheers to timeless flavours!
