Christmas Cooking & Cocktails with Deloitte

We had the pleasure of hosting a wonderful group from Deloitte for one of our Christmas Cooking Experiences!

On arrival, they were greeted with a glass of prosecco, setting a festive tone right from the start. With glasses clinking and laughter filling the room, it was clear that this was going to be an unforgettable event.

The festivities began with a festive cocktail-making session, where participants had the choice of making a cocktail or a mocktail. Under the guidance of our chef, the team members eagerly shook, stirred, and sipped their way to creating the perfect holiday cocktails. With drinks in hand, the group was ready and raring to get cooking!

Next, our chefs gathered the team around to start preparing a delicious Christmas meal with all the trimmings. Each participant had the chance to work alongside our chef, learning new techniques and tips while enjoying the camaraderie of their colleagues. The team made Turkey Roulade, Salmon en Croute and Mushroom Wellington from scratch, served with all the traditional Christmas trimmings.

With the main course prepared, it was time to move on to the final challenge of the day: the Minced Pie Making competition. Our chefs demonstrated how to make mince pies from scratch, offering tips and tricks to ensure perfect results.

Each team member had the chance to let their creativity shine, adorning their mince pies with decorations of their choice. The Deloitte team had truly outdone themselves, presenting an array of individually decorated mince pies. The competition was fierce as there were so many amazing-looking mince pies, with the winner walking away with a lovely bottle of wine.

The day concluded with everyone sitting down to enjoy their delicious festive feast together, sharing laughter, good food and festive fun!
